Lytron’s President Charles Carswell

Thank you for choosing Lytron. We are proud to be the premier supplier of liquid cooling products to manufacturers and military contractors around the world. Teaming with our customers, we develop cost-effective cooling solutions that range from single components, to value-added subassemblies, to fully customized cooling loops for the most demanding applications.

Lytron has enjoyed 13 consecutive years of growth in a highly competitive industry, a testament to our ability to deliver what customers want, year after year. Our 200 employees understand the challenges you face. Their thorough knowledge and extensive experience in heat transfer technology brings you invaluable real-world solutions, whether you are new to liquid cooling or an experienced engineer with a unique challenge.

Since our founding in 1958, we have developed scores of new products and important new cooling technologies. With the widest range of cooling technologies in the industry, Lytron has over 100 standard products described within our catalog including cold platescooling systems, and heat exchangers. New to this catalog are Lytron’s chassis, custom designed cold plates for military applications. The catalog also describes Lytron’s in-house custom design, engineering, and manufacturing capabilities, which are unmatched by any other supplier.

Supporting our outstanding product designs is Lytron’s state-of-the-art manufacturing capabilities. In 2006 we completed a major expansion that doubled our manufacturing capacity. We invest heavily in our factory to reduce costs, and all critical operations are performed at our facility.  By combining lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement strategies, we ensure the highest product quality, the highest reliability, and the lowest cost.

In 2006 Lytron also expanded through the acquisition of Lockhart Industries, Inc., designer and manufacturer of advanced aluminum-brazed cooling components for the military and electronics markets. We fully integrated the Lockhart business into our Woburn, Massachusetts facility, adding valuable equipment including vacuum-brazing furnaces, CNC machining centers, fin folding equipment, and a thermal test laboratory. The Lockhart acquisition allowed us to expand our offerings and cater even more to the needs of OEMs with challenging cooling specifications.

We look forward to working with you and we appreciate you making Lytron your Total Thermal Solutions™ company.

Sincerely,
Carswell Signature
