Fluid line connectors are critical in liquid cooling applications.

Selection, installation, and maintenance of a system's fluid connections are all important in preventing leaks and maintaining system integrity. With so many fluid connector options available, it is often difficult to decide which one is best suited for your application. The two main types of fluid connectors found in liquid cooling applications are fittings and couplings. Part 1 of this article will cover two important factors to consider when selecting fluid connectors.  It also will describe the types of fittings most frequently used in liquid cooling applications... Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)

(CMM) Inspects Parts up to 10 Feet Long with Measurement Accuracies to One Ten-Thousandths of an Inch

Lytron recently announced that they invested in a new coordinate measuring machine (CMM) for testing cold plates, chassis, and heat exchangers. A CMM is used in manufacturing to test a component or assembly against the design specifications. Lytron purchased the additional CMM in order to expand its overall testing capacity as well as to test parts (up to 10 feet long) that have been brazed in its new vacuum furnace. The new CMM can accommodate parts up to 10.0' (3 m) long, 3.8' wide (1.2 m), and 3.0' (0.9 m) high... Full Press Release
